  • Autumn Espresso Muffins

    Put a twist on traditional muffins with this German Espresso Muffin recipe! These fluffy treats are quick and easy to make, and the perfect way to warm the house when the weather starts to get cold. Everyone is sure to enjoy them.

    Ingredients for 12 muffins:

    1/2 cup butter
    2 eggs
    1 cup milk
    1 cup sugar
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 shot brewed Gourmesso espresso
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2 1/2 cups flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    Chocolate chips optional!


    Preheat oven to 325 F and grease muffin tin, or line with cupcake wrappers.

    Melt butter in a small saucepan. Once melted, combine the butter, eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, espresso, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.

    Combine the flour and baking powder in separate small bowl.

    Slowly add the flour mixture into the egg mixture while stirring.

    Once the mixture becomes doughy, fill each the muffin wrapper to about half full.

    Bake for 18-20 minutes at 325F, rotating once at 10 minutes.
