3 cups of flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 stick of softened, unsalted butter
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup of sour cream
16 oz of soft cream cheese
½ cup of granulated sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup flour
3 tablespoons cool butter
¼ cup confectioners sugar
1 ½ tsp. milk
Preheat your oven to 350° and flour a 9” x 13” baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla on low speed. Continue to gradually mix until creamy and set aside.
In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
With your mixer, combine butter, vanilla extract and sugar. Alternate adding in the dry mixture and sour cream until the batter is creamy.
Pour half of the batter into the floured pan. Spread the cream cheese mixture on top, and then add the additional batter. Use a butter knife to create a swirl pattern with batter and cream cheese.
Create a crumbly mixture using sugar, flour and butter, and sprinkle on the batter.
Bake for 40-45 min.
Combine confectioners sugar and milk. When the cake is cool, drizzle on the frosting and enjoy!
