1 to 4 are lighter roasts, while 8 to 13 tend to be richer and a darker roast.

If you are not sure what to go for, experiment with different levels until you find the right one.
The roast is all about your personal preference, and there isn't a right or wrong answer.
The best way to start trying out new coffee is by finding out what roast you like:
A common caffeine myth is that dark roast has more caffeine.
The difference is in bean density — light beans are denser and have more caffeine, while dark ones are less dense and have less caffeine.
If beans are measured by weight (mass), the caffeine amount will be the same. But, if you measure by scoops (volume), one light bean scoop may result in 70mg, while dark beans have 65mg of caffeine.
The number of capsules included in the pack will determine the cost per unit, which is more important than the overall price.
You can’t compare prices between various products if they have different capsule quantities.

Our advice: If you’ve discovered that special java that makes your heart sing, go for a larger package, as buying in bulk will end up costing less than buying individual pods.
However, if you’re still experimenting with taste, buy smaller packages or one package with multiple choices inside.
