Because we recognize the responsibility of creating plastic and aluminum based products, we have integrated TheGoodApi into our online ordering system which helps us to seamlessly support the Eden Reforestation Projects on their efforts of plantings millions of trees per year. We want you to team up with us and help make this world a better place for all species to live in!
Our company has, since the very early stages of its conception, been driven not only by the need to create amazing and affordable coffee capsules, but also by an aim towards mitigating our carbon footprint and environmental impact - especially as a seller of single serve coffee pods for Nespresso & Keurig machines. During this endeavor, we created Glorybrew, our first compostable Keurig-compatible coffee pods in 2017. Since then we have been able to utilize this technology and create the same eco-friendly alternative for our Nespresso Machine compatible capsules.
How It Works
All you need is to place an order on our website Gourmesso.com and a tree will be planted on your behalf! For every single order placed between Oct 31, 2022 and ongoing through 2026, Gourmesso donates $0.43 to the Eden Reforestation Projects, which covers the cost of planting and protecting one tree. The more coffee you drink, the more orders you'll make, and the more trees will be planted... we call this a virtuous cycle! ☕️ 🔁 🌲
Helping our planet should be a priority on everyone's agenda, and there is no contribution too large or too small! We guarantee a $0.43 donation for every order you place. To be completely transparent about how this works behind the scenes:
- You check out: The moment you complete a purchase on Gourmesso.com, our system automatically tallies your order.
- The funding: Through the integrated app from TheGoodAPI, we automatically pay $0.43 per order via Shopify Billing to TheGoodAPI.
- A tree is planted: TheGoodAPI directs these funds to the Eden Reforestation Projects, who use the money to hire local community members to plant, nurture, and protect a new tree.
Since starting our tree-planting initiative - originally with the National Forest Foundation (until 2022), we've planted several tens of thousands of trees with the help of our amazing customers - and more trees are planted everyday.
