“Gourmesso’s Chocolate” is surprisingly well mixed with the cocoa giving the chocolate cake an intense and delicious taste.
For most people, chocolate is the best therapy out there – refine your days with a piece of chocolate (or two). To make it even better, bake a mesmerizing cake and then pour a load of chocolate over it. The idea of adding coffee makes it even more exciting.
However, in order to avoid a predictable deception, you might want to invite your friends and mother-in-law. They will (like us) be enthusiastic about the following recipe.
Fun-Fact: Cinnamon has perseverance – the aromatic rods are kept cool and dry for several years.
Total time: 1h 30min
Prep time: 30min
Cook time: 1h
Difficulty: Medium
Servings: 1 Cake
➊ Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. You will need 1 Cake mold sprinkled with flour or bread crumbs. Possibly still add instant powder and separate the eggs. Make the coffee and allow to cool.
➋ Mix the flour, cocoa and baking powder, and set aside. Mix the Butter, 80g sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt for 5 – 10 minutes with an electric mixer.
➌ Mix egg yolks separately for at least 30 seconds each. Mix the flour mixture alternately with the coffee. Then, remove the nuts.
➍ Whip the egg whites stiff with a piece of egg whites and a pinch of salt, gently add 80g of sugar. Now lift the egg whites under the dough.
➎ Put the dough into the prepared mold and let it bake in a hot oven for about 60 minutes. Make a rod test! Remove the cake from the oven, and then remove it from the mold after 10 minutes and leave to cool. Cover it with the chocolate mixture. Allow to cool and serve.
Done. Enjoy!
