WHY BUY OUR K-CUP ALTERNATIVES?

ALTERNATIVE TO KEURIG®* K-CUPS - GLORYBREW K-CUP ECO-FRIENDLY PODS

How K-Cups Work?

Keurig®* machines were designed to brew either a single cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or tea and they are packed in a single serving portion pack called a K-Cup, or pod. They brew coffee by puncturing the top of the K-Cup pack with a spray nozzle, while piercing the bottom with a discharge nozzle. Hot water, at a temperature of 192 degrees, is forced through the K-Cup pack, spraying through the coffee grounds contained in a paper filter. The original K-Cup patents expired in 2012 opening up the market to new entrants like Gourmesso. We hope you enjoyed this brief overview and that you love using our Glorybrew Coffee in your Keurig®* machine.

Why choose the GLORYBREW alternative to Keurig®* K-Cup

1. Fresh and delicious coffee!

We offer excellent tasting coffee in each of our Keurig®* compatible coffee capsules. We love coffee just as much as you do, so we have selected the best-tasting coffee beans from around the world to bring to your mug. They are carefully roasted to perfection and then ground and packed immediately to guarantee a rich and pleasurable coffee tasting experience that will delight your taste buds. We produce in small quantities and test each batch for taste, aroma, intensity, and color.

2. 100% compostable pods!

Enjoy pods for Keurig®* machines that are 100% compostable! Compostable is different than biodegradable pods or traditional recyclable coffee pods. Made from plant-based materials, these pods will disintegrate in compost piles in just under 12 weeks.

3. Rainforest Alliance Certified™ Coffee!

Saving the planet tastes good, too. We are proud to offer consciously sourced coffee that carries the Rainforest Alliance Certification™. The Rainforest Alliance certifies that our coffee is grown to meet standards that support environmental, social, and economic sustainability.

4. Save money and get extra savings with our free shipping & Fast delivery!

8. Keurig®* History

For other Keurig®* lovers like ourselves we also thought you may enjoy a little history on these amazing single-serve machines. The company was founded in 1992 and based on the concept of brewing single-serve cups of coffee to provide far better consistency and quality in their coffee, a somewhat revolutionary concept at the time. Keurig®* received venture capital with funding from several investors.

The story changes in 1996 when Green Mountain Coffee Roasters invested in Keurig, buying a 35% stake in the business. The first Keurig®* brewer was the B2000 launched in 1998 for use in offices, and K-Cup tea pods were introduced in 2000. By 2000, over 40,000 commercial brewers were found in American offices. The home brewer, which we all know and love, put Keurig on the map. The machine was launched in 2004 under the name B100. In 2006, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters acquired Keurig®* for $160 million, and Keurig®* is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Green Mountain—a huge billion dollar company!
